**Job Purpose**:
Online/Offline Condition Monitoring of Electrical Distribution assets.

Should perform IR thermography and Partial Discharge of Transformer, switchgear, RMU, feeder pillars, Package units etc.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out Partial Discharge /Infrared Thermography measurements at site and use his experience and skills to effectively detect the abnormalities and evaluate severity/asset condition.
- Supervision of the site crew and ensure that work is carried out as per approved method statement.
- In case of abnormalities in results, prepare urgent reports to Team Leader.
- Ensure prevention of damage to plant & equipment of KM occasioned by Contractor’s work.
- Carry out all the required measurements at site and use his experience and skills to effectively detect the abnormalities and evaluate severity/asset condition.
- Conduct site progress inspections accordingly reports to be submitted on the defined time frame.
- Identifying system conditions that are abnormal, to determining their cause, and to recommend corrective actions.
- Executing work in a manner compliant with the project budget and schedule.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or minimum Three-year Full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, university, or college acceptable to KM.

**Experience**:5 years in electrical transmission and distribution substations
