Management:

- Guide and supervise the activities of carpenters from inception to delivery
- Manage and control all employees' related functions in the workshop
- Supervise carpenters to ensure safety and quality in the performance of assigned
- Train subordinates on work procedures and tasks
- Attend managers meetings as needed

Technical:

- Plan production schedules and ensure its timely completion
- Organise production flow effectively and efficiently
- Prepare production status reports to Operations Manager and CEO/Managing Director
- Offer recommendation on appropriate furniture designs and styles, considering costs and choice
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
- Take measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
- Carry out planning and survey to identify and implement of trending styles and ideas in construction
- Provide cost estimate of materials required for the construction of wooden fixture
- Select suitable wood type, as well as other materials needed for construction work
- Create custom woodworks used in the crafting of fine furniture units
- Oversee and participate in repairs and improvements to facilities/furniture as needed.
- Evaluate and purchase tools, materials, equipment and supplies as necessary to perform assigned duties and tasks
- Ensure that all production equipment are in operating condition
- Participate in project review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking
- Maintain paperwork as necessary for the operations of the workshop (may include time sheets, work orders, delivery notes, official receipts, etc.)
- Responsible for production quality

Coordination:

- Interact with clients to obtain information as regards their specification and preferences for a project
- Coordinate all shop drawings, generate cutting list and implement quality control procedures in the production process
- Liaise with Design, Procurement, and Project coordinators

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid QID / transferable visa
- Must be available to join immediately
- Must have at least 5 years related experience (in Qatar or GCC)
