Downstream Facilities

**Primary purpose of job**
This position is responsible for contributing to QatarEnergy’s strategic goals to maximize the value generated from Qatar’s

resources through its fertilizer facilities by reviewing and analyzing downstream facilities performance, identifying

opportunities to improve performance, monitoring the execution of improvement plans and supporting Assistant manager in

his role as Asset manager and his engagements with QatarEnergy senior management and JV board members.

**Experience & Skills**
Minimum of 15 years of broad based relevant industrial experience required, in an operational environment, preferably in

plant management with at least a direct exposure to commercial and business development activities.

Experience should include exposure to major projects design, and a good knowledge of project execution strategies and

multi discipline engineering activities.

Good understanding of discounted cash flow valuation methods and metrics such as NPV, IRR & financial metrics such as

ROCE

**Education**
Bachelors degree required (higher academic qualification preferred) in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering

Degree from an internationally recognized university and preferably with chartered engineering status.
