**Job Summary**:
The Senior HR Officer will be responsible for providing high-level HR support, managing HR operations, and overseeing the development and implementation of HR strategies. This role requires extensive experience in HR processes, employee relations, recruitment, training, and performance management. The Senior HR Officer will work closely with senior leadership and department managers to ensure that HR policies and programs align with the organization’s objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **HR Strategy Development & Implementation**:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide advice on HR-related matters and help implement initiatives for organizational development.
- **Recruitment & Talent Acquisition**:
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
- **Employee Relations**:
- Address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring a positive work environment and effective conflict resolution.
- Provide guidance on performance management, including disciplinary actions and promotions.
- **Training & Development**:
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs for employee development and skills enhancement.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend learning and development opportunities.
- **Performance Management**:
- Support the performance appraisal process by advising managers on setting objectives, giving feedback, and conducting evaluations.
- Monitor and improve employee performance through effective management practices.
- **Compliance & HR Policies**:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR policies.
- Review, update, and enforce HR policies to ensure they remain effective and legally compliant.
- **Compensation & Benefits**:
- Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, bonuses, and benefits enrollment.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and advise on compensation adjustments.
- **HR Administration & Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
- Prepare HR reports and data analytics for management on employee turnover, recruitment metrics, and other HR-related data.
- **Employee Engagement & Well-being**:
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Support wellness programs and other employee-focused initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable.
- At least 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on HR management or senior HR roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
**Desired Skills**:
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage with all levels of employees.
- Experience in handling sensitive employee relations issues with tact and diplomacy.
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position based in Doha
- 8 hours per day, Friday off
