We are looking for a strong, pragmatic business thinker with seasoned field marketing experience to lead the Central Marketing Organization (CMO) in Qatar.
The Central Marketing Organization (CMO) is anchored around a shared purpose for Customer Centricity, Marketing Thought Leadership, and Marketing and Sales Alignment. CMO accelerates Qatar growth agenda through integrated marketing campaigns that delight our customers and partners and create Microsoft fans. CMO leverages deep functional and business expertise to deliver superior customer experiences through connected customer journeys and data driven storytelling. CMO builds strategic partnerships across MEA &Corp HQ to drive a digitally transformed, connected go-to-market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead Marketing planning with business goal alignment across Sales and Marketing leadership and priorities. Lead Qatar integrated marketing with regional leadership team and drive a predictable cadence to engage with Corp stakeholders to maximize execution at scale. Understand competitive marketing approach in Qatar to ensure connecting Microsoft marketing and sales executions.
- Drive Marketing Thought Leadership, and marketing governance inclusive of Accessibility and Sustainability marketing and land Integrated Field Marketing in Qatar, using Global Demand Centers (GDCs) and Global Engagement Programs (GEPs) and governance over company processes and policies.
- Raise visibility of marketing impact in Qatar by using Marketing Engagement Index (MEI), Marketing Insights for Sellers (MIS), and support for MSX Content recommendation governance. Establish a predictable rhythm of connection (RoC) and standard reporting.
- Partner to manage the marketing budget and ensure integrated hybrid experiences for customers, leveraging global marketing strategies, policies, and assets.
- Support Industry sellers through prioritized industry GEPs via Industry Integrated Marketing Manager (IMM), and local industry digital events and local customer evidence.
- Adopt Marketing Service Central (MSC) services for marketing execution scale, global guidance/policies adherence, and use of global assets. Embrace Microsoft culture, and lead on compliance with Microsoft Accessibility and Sustainability Standards, Privacy, Security, and Microsoft brand stewardship for the Area.
- Evangelize Microsoft’s Events Framework empowering Experiential Lead to partner with WW M&O and Events, Studios & Community (ESC) teams to align global & local events and optimize the customer experience.
- Model our Microsoft culture -authentic, transparent, inclusive - and leadership values; build and grow diverse and inclusive teams. Implement a strong talent stewardship program and culture. Develop, attract and export top talent worldwide.

- Positive and pragmatic business thinker with a minimum of 15 years of Marketing, Marketing Operations, and digital technology change management leadership experience in technology.
- Strong track record of Digital, Social, Communication, and Execution
- Experience in Qatar or the Middle East is preferred
- Strong people management experience, leading virtual teams to land global marketing strategies, leverage corporate content, and augment integrated regional efforts that amplify/extend/scale marketing and enable sales. Recognized talent attractor, developer and exporter.
- Solid understanding of and appreciation for integrated, digital marketing, marketing automation concepts, and marketing operations. Strong analytical capabilities to make smart data-driven, business tradeoffs.
- Proven experience managing strategic issues and challenges in a highly matrixed organization. Leads with unflappable agility and adeptly responds to changing business conditions, bringing marketers and sellers along on our transformational journey together. Experience working at a large global multinational is a plus.
- High degree of self-awareness and professional objectivity, executive maturity and presence, exceptional listening skills, broad world perspective and sense of humor. Excellent verbal and written communications and cross-organization collaboration skills. Exceptional skill in exerting influence and impact with executives and senior leaders in the company. Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent work experience required; MBA degree preferred but not required.
