**Job Summary**:
The Inventory and Procurement Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control and procurement processes for Last Batch Coffee Roasters. This role ensures the availability of products, oversees purchasing activities, manages vendor relationships, and maintains accurate stock levels. The individual will coordinate closely with the production team and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels of coffee beans, packaging materials, and other necessary supplies.
- Implement and oversee inventory tracking systems, ensuring accurate data input and output.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, consumption rates, and low stock alerts.
- Collaborate with the production team to forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends and production schedules.
- Coordinate with the Inventory team for proper documentation and reporting of stock movements.
- **Procurement Management**:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies, including identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring consistent supply of high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms, including delivery times, quality, and pricing.
- Manage purchase order processes, ensuring timely orders and maintaining accurate records of purchases.
- Evaluate and source new suppliers and materials, ensuring alignment with company standards and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate the procurement of coffee samples, green beans, and other production materials in accordance with company policies.
- **Vendor and Supplier Coordination**:
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Address and resolve any issues related to supply chain delays, quality concerns, or vendor disputes.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of all suppliers and their terms.
- **Reporting and Compliance**:
- Create and submit detailed reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and budgetary performance to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to inventory and procurement, including documentation requirements and approval processes.
- Assist with the preparation and management of inventory audits and regulatory inspections.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience in inventory management and procurement, preferably within the food or beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory tracking, and purchasing processes.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Ealsuite) and Excel.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments, including production, sales, and finance.
Pay: QAR4,500.00 per month
