With our continuous growth, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exclusive and exciting opportunity to join our **Cargo Charters Team** in **Doha **as a **Cargo Charters and Leasing Manager**

The role will be responsible to manage Charter / Leasing (wet lease in & out) availability to meet the capacity needs and optimization by coordinating with commercial stakeholders as well as exploring charter and leasing opportunities available internationally and acquiring suitable aircraft to meet the demand with cost effective solution internally and externally. Furthermore, the role will be responsible to provide/ lease QR aircraft externally in the best interest of Qatar Airways, develop tools and build processes for the department to ensure smooth operation for achieving organizational goals.

Some of the tasks include:

- Review business cases and establish plans in coordination with Commercial Planning, Schedule Planning and Leasing to ensure capacity development and aircraft availability for profitable adhoc, long term and lease operation.
- Facilitate charter / leasing program execution by preparing memos to obtain GCEO approval for leasing program.
- Evaluate Charter/ Leasing proposal with business case to achieve deals of sourcing in & out aircraft in the best interest of the company.
- Manage staff roster patterns to suit operational requirements and ensure that staff coverage for business operation.
- Develop, implement, review and improve KPIs of the department based on growing business and department needs.
- Create manuals and workflows for the department and ensure that processes and policies are adhered to for smooth operation.
- Manage and maintain new program startup checklist with Customer/ Leasing operator and other internal stakeholders for swift kick off.
- Train and develop other employees to ensure succession planning is in place

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 6 years of relevant experience within the aviation industry
- Experience in working in technical sales with added knowledge of network planning and optimization
- Well versed with different aircraft types and available capacities
- Good knowledge of air cargo operational and commercial aspects
- Strong analytical, communication, strategic planning and problem
- solving skills
- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow, with strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Strong presentation and customer service skills.
- Strong command of the English language
