As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo’s Cargo Network Planning Team in Doha as a Senior Manager Cargo Route Management and IOC.

**About the role**

In this role, you will be responsible to manage, develop QR Cargo Route Management and IOC Cargo. You will monitor and steer all QR Cargo (pax) freighter assets with regards to profitability-based decision making and quality of cargo operations. Also, you will be responsible for all aspects of the route management window of cargo aircraft, planning, accountable for steering, decision-making and manage overall development of procedures for joint operations together with Network Planning management team.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

- Advisory responsibility and accountability of the (pax) freighter assets in terms of profitability-based decision.
- Provide leadership to reactiveness to market demand and operational issues in regards with QR Cargo freighter requirement.
- Build, maintain and develop processes linked with 24/7 optimal (pax) Freighter management.
- Monitor the revenue performance and profitability in regards with route management and (pax) freighter management for QR Cargo.
- Set commercial and operational priorities in the route management and IOC Cargo window.
- Source capacity to the Charter team, ensuring this results in improved profitability while maintain schedule integrity.
- Ensure sufficient ground time in Doha for engineering technical teams to assess aircraft worthiness and reliability.

Qualifications

**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 10 years of job-related experience in network planning and operations within the airline industry
- Excellent problem solver with strong skills in managing crises and disruptions
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure within the environment of time constraints to resolve issues with a high level of competence and professionalism.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills with strong negotiation, persuasion and influencing capabilities
- Ability to work with cross
- functional and multi-cultural teams at all levels in a faced
- paced working environment
- Data driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience and ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
