In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to the overall accountability for Cargo Charter & Leasing Department, ensuring highest possible service for QR network and beyond. You will develop network of future in line with QR Cargo’s vision which includes establishing new Hubs across the network, aircraft leasing through airline partnerships or lessors and commercial strategy for adhoc and long term chartering product.

As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

- Develop Charter Sales and Leasing strategies, policies, processes, tools and structures.
- Collaborate with Regional and HO executive management team to develop Charter & Leasing strategy and feedback market insights to support strategic target settings and decision making.
- Develop marketing and sales strategies with / without QR Corporate stakeholders to update the trade and corporate houses about QR Cargo’s Charter and Leasing products and services.
- Manage customer/ lessor accounts. Accountable for contract negotiations in revenue and cost.
- Liaise with Sales and Operations Teams to optimize charter & leasing revenue production, awareness of requirements and develop/ optimize their potentials. Communicate initiatives and progress on the charter network to the sales force and operations teams.
- Explore and develop Wet Lease options in order to maximise QR Cargo’s contribution and bridge for network of the future in line with Vision 2027.
- Establish department objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Minimum bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of job-related experience within the airfreight / air cargo environment
- Senior level commercial responsibility in charter sales and aircraft leasing management
- Demonstrated success in business development and growth delivery
- Project and program management in alignment with global aviation standards and QR Cargo standards
- Ability to plan and manage both strategic and operational level
- Strong people management and leadership skills
