**Position Summary**:
The **Inventory & Purchasing Manager**will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control and purchasing within the roastery. You will develop and maintain accurate systems to track stock levels of green coffee, roasted coffee, packaging, equipment parts, and general supplies. Your role is critical in minimizing waste, reducing costs, and ensuring uninterrupted production flow.

**Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management**:

- Develop and manage a real-time inventory tracking system using inventory management software (e.g., Katana, Sortly, Craftybase, or Google Sheets if in early stages).
- Conduct **daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits** and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Monitor and log all incoming and outgoing inventory, including green beans, roasted coffee, packaging, and consumables.
- Track shelf life, batch numbers, and lot traceability of all products and raw materials.
- Work with the roasting and production teams to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Set minimum and maximum stock levels and establish reorder points.
- Maintain organized and labeled storage areas, optimizing space and ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) principles are followed.

**Purchasing & Supply Chain**:

- Source and manage relationships with suppliers of green coffee, packaging, labels, and general production materials.
- Request quotes, negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
- Place and track all purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication with vendors.
- Communicate expected deliveries to the production team and schedule receiving accordingly.
- Receive shipments, verify accuracy, and resolve any issues with suppliers.
- Maintain documentation of invoices, delivery notes, and purchase records for internal use and audits.

**Reporting & Accountability**:

- Generate regular inventory and purchasing reports for management, including usage rates, forecasting, cost tracking, and performance insights.
- Collaborate with finance for accurate cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) calculations and inventory valuation.
- Identify and implement process improvements in inventory handling and purchasing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and traceability standards.

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years experience in inventory management, purchasing, or supply chain (coffee or F&B industry preferred).
- Proficiency with inventory and ERP software systems. Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Experience working in a warehouse, roastery, or production environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, including occasional lifting and stock checks.

Salary : 6,000 QR Per Month

Pay: QAR6,000.00 per month
