Crane Maintenance Supervisor Electro- Mechanical

**The role?**

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas**:

- Carry out both routine and planned maintenance and repair activities on (but not restricted to) the pedestal cranes and associated component parts comprising of but not limited to, PLC, SLI system, electrical system, power plant, hydraulic system open closed-loop, pneumatic system, winches, sheaves, ropes, engines, etc.
- Carry out and document all necessary planned routine and periodic maintenance tasks including spares usage.
- Maintain a clean and tidy worksite at all times. Dispose of rubbish in accordance with local procedure.
- To ensure that all spare parts and materials utilized are in good order and fit for purpose.
- To coordinate all other spares required to ensure the continuous operation and availability of the platform cranes.
- Work with independent verification inspectorate in carrying out periodic inspections and load testing.
- Assist as required (within the individual abilities) the platform maintenance crew on another mechanical plant at the discretion of the offshore installation management.
- To carry out general maintenance, servicing, and deck support duties.
- To participate fully in the companies competency assurance program.
- Attend courses as deemed necessary by the company commensurate with the individual’s position.
- Carry out other tasks deemed within individuals' training and competence.
- Attend EnerMech onshore workshop to carry out repairs on crane components etc and general workshop duties.

Supervisor:

- Attend EnerMech onshore workshop to carry out repairs on crane components etc and general workshop duties.
- To coordinate large maintenance tasks.
- To act as the focal point between platform and EnerMech office.
- To ensure all personnel are aware of and adhere to safe and environmentally sound methods of work and systems which identify hazards at each place of work. Also, consider third-party sub-contractors.
- To ensure all personnel receives precise instruction in their responsibilities and correct working methods where risk exists in relation to Health, Safety, and Environmental issues.
- To ensure the competence of all personnel under your responsibility in conducting those work activities for which they are employed.
- Ensure any induction and or training required by personnel prior to conducting new activities.
- In consultation with the EHS & QA Manager, identify any training requirements under your responsibilities

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

- Participate in Incident Report Investigation.
- To be aware of site general and specific procedures/guideline requirements.
- Ensure a safe and comprehensive shift handover occurs and is accurately recorded.
- To read and understand Client EHS Policy and EnerMech Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection Policies, Organization, and arrangements.
- Carry out their job description responsibilities and activities defined in project work processes and operating procedures.
- Be aware of relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidance notes, and good industry practice.
- Plan, organize, and document work processes (including risk assessment TBT’s, etc) to deliver the required standard with minimum risk to personnel, plant, materials, or the environment.
- Implement safe methods of work and maintain the existing systems to identify hazards and safe methods of material storage.
- Be assured of the competence of all personnel you are working within conducting those work activities for which they are employed.
- In consultation with the EHS & QA Manager, identify any HSE-specific training requirements of himself.
- To ensure that plant, equipment and materials are adequate for the task provided and that sufficient information is made available to allow for safe use within their specification without harm to personnel or the environment.
- Participate in clients / EnerMech safety workshops and team development programs.
- Ensure that accidents/incidents are immediately reported to both client and EnerMech.
- Observe EnerMech procedures relating to working in EnerMech’s workshop.

Technical Integrity:

- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are completed to the highest possible standard.
- To uphold the company’s reputation and not to discuss or divulge any company information to any third party out with the employment of EnerMech.
