**Responsibilities**:

- **Planning And Coordinating**: Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize international logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
- **Shipping Documentation**: Prepare accurate and compliant shipping documentation, such as commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
- **Supplier Coordination**: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and meet quality standards.
- **Freight Forwarder Management**: Coordinate with freight forwarders to negotiate rates, arrange transportation, and handle customs clearance.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with warehouses, and ensure sufficient stock levels to meet customer demands.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve logístical challenges, such as customs delays, transportation issues, or changes in shipping regulations.
- **Communication**: Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on the status of shipments and any challenges encountered.
- **Customer Support**: Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- **Compliance**: Stay updated with the latest international trade regulations and ensure compliance with customs documentation and legal requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to streamline logistics operations and improve efficiency.
- **Reporting**: Generate regular reports to track key performance indicators, shipment status, and any operational issues.
- **Budget Management**: Assist in budget planning, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness in logistics operations.

**Qualifications**:
To excel in this role, the Logistics Specialist should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations.
- Proficiency in shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and adaptable.
- Experience with ERP systems and shipping software.
- Knowledge of global logistics networks and carriers.

Ability to commute/relocate:
