**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Food Preparation and Cooking**
Prepare and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality food is served consistently and in a timely manner.
- **Create American Breakfast Menu**
Collaborate with the Head Chef to create, update, and innovate the American breakfast menu, ensuring it aligns with the restaurant’s theme and meets customer preferences.
- **Maintain Kitchen Organization**
Ensure kitchen stations are clean, organized, and stocked with ingredients needed for efficient food preparation.
- **Adhere to Health and Safety Standards**
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure all items are prepared and handled in compliance with health regulations.
- **Menu and Recipe Execution**
Follow recipes and prepare dishes according to restaurant specifications, maintaining quality and consistency.
- **Assist in Kitchen Operations**
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, particularly during peak service times.
- **Quality Control and Presentation**
Ensure dishes meet the restaurant’s presentation and taste standards. Maintain attention to detail in every meal prepared.
- **Stock and Inventory Management**
Assist with inventory checks and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a **Cook** in a fast-paced kitchen environment (at least 3 years preferred).
- **Experience in preparing American breakfast dishes**.
- Ability to **create and develop American breakfast menu items**.
- Ability to multitask and manage cooking during peak service times.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Attention to detail, particularly in food presentation.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining food quality.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Preferred**:
- Culinary degree or formal culinary training (preferred, but not required).
- Experience working in **hotel**, **brunch**, or **breakfast-focused** restaurant settings.
- Ability to accommodate special dietary requests (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian).
