Job Description: As a Light and Sound Technician, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of lighting and sound operations for live events, performances, and productions. You will collaborate with directors, stage managers, and other technical staff to ensure the smooth running of each event, making sure that all lighting and sound effects are executed perfectly.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain lighting and sound equipment for live events and performances.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure technical requirements are met for each show.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during rehearsals and performances.

Ensure all equipment is tested and in good working condition before and after each show.

Follow safety protocols and ensure safe operation of all technical equipment.

Assist with the design and implementation of lighting and sound cues for each production.

Maintain accurate records of lighting and sound setups, configurations, and equipment usage.

Stay up to date with the latest trends in lighting and sound technology.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Light and Sound Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of lighting systems, sound equipment, and stage technology.

Familiarity with audio and lighting software (e.g., QLab, Ableton Live, ETC or similar).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends as required for performances.

Good communication and team-working skills.

Technical training or certification in lighting, sound, or stage technology is a plus.
