Located in the heart of Doha Old Town, Kimpton Al Rowda Doha will be the first Kimpton in the Middle East bringing the brand’s playful energy, infectious personality, and unique design style to this charming and vibrant area of town. Just a stone’s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options. As a Moroccan Specialty Chef, you will report to the Executive Sous Chef and you will be responsible for supervising the Outlet Kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel’s standardized menu guidelines, monitoring regular standards of production to ensure highest level of quality, monitoring all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost, participating in the drafting of concept ideas and menus for all special events and functions while encouraging all employees to put forward their ideas and utilizing them wherever practical, ensuring HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards at all times, ensuring consistent on the job training session for culinary colleagues and promoting health and safety. Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: - Degree in Hospitality or Culinary field - Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Moroccan Cuisine with 2 years as Chef de Cuisine - Solid track of food preparation, presentation and preservation knowledge is essential - Luxury & Lifestyle experience is an advantage - Pre-Opening experience is an advantage We’ll reward all your hard work with competitive salary and benefits.
