Key Responsibilities:

- Operate conventional milling machines for gear cutting and metal machining
- Cut various gear types: spur, helical, bevel, worm, and rack & pinion
- Perform indexing, gear hobbing, shaping, and finishing operations
- Interpret technical drawings and gear specifications (DP, module, pressure angle, etc.)
- Calculate gear dimensions and verify accuracy using measuring tools
- Understanding of heat treatment and gear finishing processes
- Select appropriate tooling and setups for different gear types and materials
- Maintain machines and workspace to quality and safety standards
- Qualifications:

- 10+ years’ experience in conventional milling and gear cutting
- Strong knowledge of gear types, gear calculations, and cutting techniques
- Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and gear measuring tools
- Familiar with machining feeds, speeds, and materials
- Vocational training or equivalent mechanical experience
- Experience with lathes, grinders, or other manual machines
