**Key Responsibilities**:

- **PLC Programming & Design**:

- Develop, program, and commission PLC systems for various automation projects.
- Create and modify ladder logic, function block diagrams, and other PLC programming languages as required.
- **System Integration & Troubleshooting**:

- Integrate PLC systems with other control systems such as SCADA and DCS.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to system performance, communication, and hardware/software integration.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system manuals, schematics, and process flow diagrams.
- Provide detailed reports on system performance, modifications, and troubleshooting efforts.
- **Collaboration & Support**:

- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers to implement automation solutions.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure all PLC programming and modifications comply with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in safety reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a PLC Engineer or Automation Engineer, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with various PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) is essential.
- **Skills**:

- Proficient in programming languages for PLC systems (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- **Certifications**:

- Relevant certifications in PLC programming and industrial automation are an asset.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest automation technologies.
