Tender Preparation: Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQ) to prepare accurate cost estimates.

Cost Breakdown: Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs, ensuring all components of the tender are covered.

Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative methods or materials to optimize project value.

Risk Assessment: Conduct risk analysis for tender submissions, ensuring all contingencies are adequately accounted for.

Bid Documentation: Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documents, including cost estimates, schedules, and technical proposals.

Market Research: Stay updated on market prices, industry trends, and competitor strategies.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure all tender requirements are met.

Follow-Up: Engage with clients and consultants to clarify queries, negotiate pricing, and support the bid approval process.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Civil Estimator with a strong focus on tendering for civil and infrastructure projects.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in tendering software ( CostX, Primavera, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and tendering processes.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tender deadlines.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and external client interactions.
