We are looking for an **Onshore Construction Lead (Mech/Piping)**for one of our clients with the following details:
**Location: Doha, Qatar Onshore**

**Estimated Start Date: ASAP**

**Estimated End Date: 30-Apr-2028**

**Contract Duration: 36 Months**

Qualification and Experience Required:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.

Technical and Business Skills
- Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
- Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
- Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, subsurface, etc.

Key Job Accountabilities
- Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
- Manages and ensures successful execution of Onshore Brownfield piping and Mechanical fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
- To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the piping and mechanical fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
- To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
- To review deviations to company construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built) for the construction activities.
- Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
- Review Contractor's progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
- To Participate to Risk Assessments, kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, pre-Simops visits, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.
- To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.
