The Role
Charterhouse are working exclusively with an international professional services organisation who are looking to hire a Head of Events to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This pivotal role will plan and oversee all aspects of corporate events on behalf of the business to build brand awareness and increase client engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation and make a real difference through the strategic development of successful corporate events which reinforce positive brand awareness and corporate partner relationships in the region. The Head of Events will be tasked with building the annual events calendar in collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure all business objective are delivered. This role will handle everything from the development of event concepts, researching venues, providing detailed proposals and negotiating prices and hire with vendors. In addition, the Head of Events will work closely alongside the sales and marketing team to advertise and promote upcoming events. Due to the nature of the role, there will be occasions where it is required to work outside of core business hours therefore individuals must be willing to be flexible around the company’s needs, which also includes occasional travel overseas.
