**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning and Coordination**:

- Develop comprehensive shutdown plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, operations, procurement) to define shutdown objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Establish a detailed work scope and ensure all tasks are well-defined with clear milestones.
- Ensure that necessary materials, equipment, and resources are procured and available prior to the shutdown.
- Develop and manage the shutdown budget, ensuring the project stays within allocated costs.
- **Execution and Monitoring**:

- Lead the execution of shutdown activities according to the established plan, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are met during the shutdown activities.
- Coordinate, monitor, and supervise the activities of contractors, vendors, and in-house teams involved in the shutdown.
- Oversee critical maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and inspections while ensuring the work is executed to the highest standards of quality.
- Monitor and adjust resources, timelines, and priorities to address any unplanned issues or delays during the shutdown process.
- **Team Leadership and Communication**:

- Lead and motivate a team of engineers, planners, contractors, and technical staff to achieve shutdown objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders, including management, operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, risks, issues, and progress.
- Conduct daily progress meetings and issue reports to ensure that all team members are aligned and focused on shutdown goals.
- **Risk Management and Problem Solving**:

- Proactively identify potential risks and issues that could impact the shutdown schedule or quality.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays or disruptions.
- Address any issues that arise during the shutdown and resolve them quickly to maintain project continuity.
- Ensure that the team follows established protocols for dealing with emergencies or unforeseen complications.
- **Post-Shutdown Evaluation and Closeout**:

- Ensure a smooth transition back to full production, verifying that all equipment is tested and operational before restarting.
- Conduct a post-shutdown review to evaluate the success of the project, identify lessons learned, and document findings.
- Ensure that all work is signed off and completed as per safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Prepare and submit final reports, including completion certificates, budget reconciliation, and performance evaluations.
