To monitor food production and ensure that all products meet Evergreen Organics’ high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. This role is essential in maintaining compliance, preventing risks, and supporting efficient kitchen operations.
- Oversee food production activities to ensure all items meet established quality and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods for freshness, proper handling, and compliance with company standards.
- Implement, maintain, and improve quality control systems and SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency in kitchen operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, including **FIFO (First In, First Out)** practices and proper labeling, storage, and handling procedures.
- Identify any quality issues and work with relevant team members to implement timely corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all quality checks, inspections, incidents, and actions taken. Submit regular reports to the Operations Manager or Head Chef.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to support smooth production workflows and on-time dispatch, while ensuring quality standards are upheld.
- Train kitchen staff on quality control measures and food safety protocols, reinforcing best practices across all shifts.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in food quality control or central kitchen operations.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and record-keeping abilities.
- Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
