Department

ENGINEERING SERVICES

Primary purpose of job

To raise the technical capability of Surface Engineering staff (Associates & Experienced Discipline Engineers) across the

corporation.

To provide comprehensive technical guidance, on-the-job experience enhancement, development of training curriculum

and to direct learning requirements, mentorship and coaching for discipline engineering staff.

Experience & Skills

1. 15 years minimum experience in the Oil & Gas industry, both site and office based with an international consulting

company, EPIC contractor, or Operating company. Possess sound technical knowledge and skills in relevant engineering

discipline.

2. Ideally a Chartered or similar Professional Engineer.

3. Experience of training and mentoring Graduate Engineers for professional qualifications.

4. Skill/ knowledge of International Standards such as Shell DEPs and/ or QP standards related to relevant engineering

discipline.

5. Possess excellent leadership, presentation, mentoring/ coaching, teamwork and relationship management.

6. Possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.

7. Self-motivated and able to organize self to work in a matrix organization with multiple interfaces.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
