The Assistant HR Manager assists in the management and execution of human resources functions within the company, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with local labor laws and regulations. This role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Recruitment & Onboarding**:

- Assist in the recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate and updated job descriptions and recruitment materials.
- **Employee Relations**:

- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely support and resolution.
- Assist in managing and resolving employee issues and conflicts in alignment with company policies.
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
- **Performance Management**:

- Support the performance appraisal process, including tracking and documenting performance reviews.
- Assist managers with performance management issues, including coaching and development plans.
- **Training & Development**:

- Coordinate and facilitate training programs, workshops, and development activities.
- Identify training needs and work with vendors or internal resources to develop training solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and employee progress.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:

- Ensure adherence to Qatari labor laws and regulations, including updates on changes in legislation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports and conducting audits for HR compliance.
- **HR Administration**:

- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including benefits administration, leave management, and payroll inquiries.
- Maintain and update HR databases and systems.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an similar role.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Qatari labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., HRIS systems).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
