Finance Business Intelligence Specialist

**About the Role** You will be responsible for supporting and implementing the Analytics Strategy in the Finance portfolio, with focus on specific projects. This role is responsible for designing and developing analytical content to relevant stakeholders in line with business requirements and CFO vision. **Responsibilities** - Support FBI Manager in accomplishing deliverables for the assigned portfolio, by providing accurate and timely data, content and insights. - Elicit and document business needs and questions in a form that is comprehensible by various stakeholders e.g. business and IT teams - Develop analytical content and insights for the relevant stakeholders and assigned portfolio as per requirements and business needs to support business decision making - Communicate effectively with the key stakeholders in business and IT teams in order to ensure the timely delivery of analytical content - Provide analysis and insights in form of dashboards and analytical packs, to address business questions and queries - Ensure continuous improvement of existing analytical content to ensure relevance, accuracy and timeliness - Ensure on time and effective deliverables, by following task prioritization through agile methodology, to meet business needs **Skills** - Exceptional knowledge and experience in data analytics - Confident with data analysis tasks using any tool or technique, and can develop custom tools and techniques when necessary - Good communicator able to explain insights from data to technical and non-technical audiences, and can teach and mentor others in data analytics - Able to be the "bridge" between business stakeholders and technical partners ensuring that requirements are well documented and technical and functional acceptance criteria clearly defined - Can identify hidden patterns or trends in data, and can develop innovative solutions to complex data analysis problems. - Has knowledge of best practices for designing effective visualizations and can choose the most effective and innovative visualizations for any type of data **Be part of an extraordinary story** Your skills. Together, everything is possible **Qualifications**: **About you** Essential - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience - Work experience in managing (processing and analyzing) voluminous data - Experience in deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management - Experience is setting in preparing and giving presentation on business performance to middle and senior management - Experience in financial data management, organization, reporting and analysis **About Qatar Airways Group** Our story started with four aircraft.
