**ROLE PURPOSE**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead and manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of MEP systems for various projects.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure quality and compliance.
- Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and technical submittals.
- Ensure all MEP activities adhere to Qatari building codes, MMUP, and QCDD regulations.
- Identify and resolve MEP-related technical issues and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets related to MEP works.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Supervise and coordinate the MEP team, including junior engineers and subcontractors, ensuring proper communication across disciplines.
- Oversee site installations, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising system performance or safety.
- Ensure MEP systems comply with local regulations, international standards, and project specifications.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION**:
Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an MEP Senior Engineer in the construction industry.
- Qatar MMUP (UPDA) certification and QCDD license are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of MEP design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, etc.) and local Qatari regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design and analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
