**Responsibilities**:
Administer, maintain, and optimise Oracle databases to ensure high availability and efficiency.

Design and build data warehouses to support business intelligence and reporting needs.

Manage ETL processes, ensuring seamless data ingestion and transformation.

Perform query tuning, indexing, and database performance monitoring to ensure optimal efficiency.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks, slow queries, and resource-intensive processes.

Recommend and implement best practices for database optimisation.

Leverage Snowflake’s advanced features, including clustering, virtual warehouses, and performance tuning.

**Experience**:

- Extensive experience as an Oracle DBA, particularly in investment management or financial services.
- Proven track record in designing and building data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data migration and integration.
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
- Advanced performance tuning skills, including query optimisation and indexing.
