**Overview**: As a **Junior** Coffee Barista, you will be an integral part of our coffee shop's team, learning the art of crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our valued customers. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to develop their barista skills. Under the guidance of experienced baristas and the management team, you will have the opportunity to grow and refine your coffee preparation techniques while providing excellent customer service in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

**Responsibilities**:
Coffee Preparation and Brewing:

- Assist in the preparation of various coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, and cold brew, while learning the proper brewing techniques.
- Learn to adjust coffee grind settings and brewing times to achieve the desired flavor profiles.

Customer Service and Interaction:

- Greet customers warmly and engage with them in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- Learn to take customer orders accurately and efficiently, paying attention to special requests.

Beverage Customization:

- Observe and learn how to tailor coffee beverages to meet individual customer preferences, such as adjusting sweetness, milk type, or flavorings.

Cleanliness and Organization:

- Work with the team to maintain a clean and organized coffee bar area, including the espresso machine, grinder, and preparation stations.
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing utensils, cups, and other coffee bar equipment.

Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS) Operations:

- Learn how to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently using the coffee shop's POS system.
- Observe and assist in processing orders and providing customers with receipts.

Restocking and Inventory Management:

- Assist in monitoring coffee and ingredient inventory levels and notify senior baristas or management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Learn about receiving and organizing deliveries of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other related items.

Training and Skill Development:

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your barista skills and knowledge of coffee brewing techniques.
- Seek feedback from experienced baristas and the management team to improve your performance.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista is not mandatory; however, a passion for coffee and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Strong enthusiasm and interest in developing barista skills and knowledge of coffee.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to adapt and learn quickly.
- Flexibility to work during peak business hours, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
