Doha, Qatar MSC-Q Full time

Provides Centre‑wide procurement and logistics services, including but not limited to, procuring goods and services in accordance to MSC-Q policy and standards;
- Responsible for ensuring that the logistics function are in accordance with company policy, IS0 : 9001:2015 procedures and standards, Qatar laws and regulations and exceeds the clients’ requirements.
- Analyses, negotiates and prepares order/contractual agreements, ensuring appropriate terms and conditions are included to protect the interests of the Company.
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services
- Monitors and reviews progress of contractual agreements, prepares invoices for payment, resolves any problems that arise, performs post contract evaluations, creates and maintains logistics records, including electronic records in the systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data;
- Provides advice, guidance and support to clients on shipping methods and services, risks, and costs for domestic and international shipments, analyses logístical requirements and decides on appropriate methods and services to use, based on standard practice, and plans, executes and monitors shipments.
- Provides required written authorizations, and prepares / issues instructions and import / export documentation to suppliers, freight forwarders, and / or carriers, to ensure timely and safe arrival of goods, and compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations, Customs regulations etc., and takes necessary action to resolve problems/disputes, if there’s any;
- Provides support to other colleagues and shares input to develop and implement new tools, operational or other improvements, as appropriate.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Comply with laws, regulations and IS0 : 9001:2015 quality systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Provides up-to-date visual presentation / trainings to the entire company.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics approach, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance of the company.
- **PROCUREMENT DETAILED SCOPE OF WORKS**

Screens, evaluates, and register new/old suppliers.

Prepares purchase order in accordance with the requirement of the client and as per the company’s’ standard and policy.

Negotiates prices, payment, delivery terms and conditions.

Issue purchase orders, tracks, monitor and to ensure to receive the order on/before the delivery commitment to the clients.

Provides updates and report to the sales team.

Prepares comparative report for all rates and prices.

Maintains good relationship with multiple suppliers.

Provides effective and immediate solution for any disputes/problems in the order/deliveries etc.

Review invoices for payments and to ensure all invoices/payments are up to date.
- **LOGISTICS DETAILED SCOPE OF WORKS**

Track orders and shipments.

Review shipping documents and to ensure all required pre-approvals are arranged prior arrival of the consignment to make sure no delays of clearance operation.

Ensure to obtain warehouse to warehouse transit insurance for all shipments.

Ensure all orders are received in accordance with the requirement.

Provides effective and immediate solution for any disputes/problems in the order/deliveries etc.

Provides cost effective logistics solution and expenses to the Sales Team.

Ensures to partnered with high-class logistics service provider.

Maintains goods relationship with the service providers and with a good credit facility.

- Knowledge of Qatar Authorities' laws and procedures related to Customs (Air, Ocean and Inland).
