**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Plan, develop, and execute the pastry and dessert menu in alignment with the restaurant’s concept and standards.
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, tarts, cookies, breads, mousses, and specialty desserts.
- Innovate and test new recipes to enhance the pastry offering and seasonal menus.
- Oversee daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry staff and bakers.
- Ensure all ingredients and products are fresh and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels, place ingredient orders, and manage inventory with mínimal wastage.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Chef and other departments for event planning, special menus, and promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant, bakery, or hotel.
- Formal culinary or pastry training from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry arts, decorating techniques, and bakery operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Team player with leadership qualities.
**Working Conditions**:
- Shifts may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
