JobOpenings – Qatar Supervisor (Shipwright Department) Job Location: Qatar Duty Hours: 8 Hours per day Age Limit: Below 40 Years Gender: Male Only Muslim Candidate No. Position – 3 Duty Hours: Standard Eight (08) Hours /26 days Salary: QAR 3,300 -3,500 per month Job Overview: ​The Supervisor (Shipwright Department) will be responsible for overseeingall shipwright activities, including repair, maintenance, and construction workon marine vessels and structures. The role requires strong leadership,technical expertise, and hands -on experience in marine operations. TheSupervisor will ensure that all shipwright and carpentry work is executed.According to specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations whilecoordinating effectively with teams and management.Job Role& Responsibilities:· Supervise day -to -day shipwright operationsincluding fitting, structural repair, and carpentry works on vessels.· Plan and allocate tasks to the shipwright teamto ensure project schedules are met.· Monitor progress, inspect completed work, andensure compliance with marine and shipyard standards.· Provide technical guidance to workers on repairmethods, tools, and equipment usage.· Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and projectmanagers to ensure smooth workflow.· Ensure all materials and tools are available fordaily operations.· Conduct inspections of hull structures, decks,and fittings to assess repair requirements.· Ensure all work adheres to company safety andenvironmental (HSE) guidelines.· Train and mentor junior technicians andshipwright workers to maintain skill levels and safety compliance.RequirementsQualifications & Experience:· Education: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical,Marine, or Shipbuilding Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.· Experience: Minimum 6–10 years of experience inshipwright, marine, or shipyard operations, with at least 2–3 years in asupervisory role.· Must have strong knowledge of marine vesselstructures, ship repair methods, and shipyard procedures.· Gulf or overseas marine experience preferred.RequiredSkills:· In -depth knowledge of shipwright and marinerepair techniques.· Ability to read and interpret engineeringdrawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.· Strong leadership and team management abilities.· Excellent coordination and communication skillswith multidisciplinary teams.· Proficiency in maintenance planning, taskallocation, and reporting.· Sound understanding of health, safety, andenvironmental (HSE) standards in marine operations.· Capable of working under pressure and meetingproject deadlines.· Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, reportpreparation).· English communication required; Arabic is anadvantage.
