JobOpenings – Qatar Supervisor (Shipwright) – withBlasting and Painting Job Location: Qatar Duty Hours: 8 Hours per day Age Limit: Below 40 Years Gender: Male Only Muslim Candidate No. Position – 3 Duty Hours: Standard Eight (08) Hours /26 days Salary: QAR 3,300 -3,500 per month Job Overview: The Supervisor (Shipwright Department) will be responsible for overseeing all shipwright, blasting, and paintingoperations in a marine and shipyard environment. The role requires solidtechnical expertise in surface preparation, coating applications, and marinemaintenance procedures. The Supervisor will ensure that all activities areexecuted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and industrystandards.Job Role& Responsibilities:· Supervise and coordinate shipwright, blasting,and painting works within the shipyard.· Plan and assign daily tasks to the team toensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.· Oversee surface preparation, abrasive blasting,and paint/coating application on vessels and structures.· Inspect and ensure all work complies with marinecoating specifications and quality standards.· Monitor material usage and ensure all equipmentand safety gear are properly maintained.· Work closely with engineers and project managersto coordinate work schedules and manpower allocation.· Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensureadherence to HSE policies.· Maintain daily work records, inspection reports,and progress updates.· Train and guide workers on proper blasting andpainting techniques.· Ensure compliance with all company and clientquality and safety procedures. RequirementsQualifications & Experience:· Education: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical,Marine, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.· Experience: Minimum 6–10 years of experience inshipwright, blasting, and painting within a marine or shipyard setup.· At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role withproven experience in surface preparation and coating systems.· Strong knowledge of marine coatings, blastingstandards, and painting processes.· Gulf or overseas shipyard experience preferred.RequiredSkills:· Strong understanding of blasting and paintingtechniques used in marine environments.· Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsand work specifications.· Leadership and team supervision skills withhands -on problem -solving ability.· Excellent communication and coordination withcross -functional teams.· Knowledge of HSE standards and safe workingpractices in blasting and painting operations.· Familiarity with coating systems, surfacepreparation grades, and inspection tools.· Proficiency in report writing and daily jobtracking.· English communication required; Arabicpreferred.
