Maintenance Supervisor (Lifting &Transport)Job Location: QatarAge Limit: Below 40Years Gender: Male No. of Positions: 5Duty Hours: StandardEight (08) Hours /26 Days Salary: OMR 3,300 – 3,500 per month JobOverview:The Maintenance Supervisor (Lifting & Transport)will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance,inspection, and repair of lifting equipment, cranes, vehicles, and transportmachinery. The role ensures that all lifting and transport operations areconducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and internationalsafety standards. Job Role& Responsibilities:• Supervise day -to -day maintenance activitiesfor lifting equipment, mobile cranes, forklifts, and transport vehicles. • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs. • Ensure all equipment is properly inspected, certified, and maintained tooperational standards. • Coordinate with operators and drivers to report and resolve equipment issuespromptly. • Review maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records forcompliance. • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement for maintenanceneeds. • Lead a team of technicians and mechanics, ensuring safe and efficient work practices. • Conduct regular toolbox meetings and enforce HSE compliance within the team. • Collaborate with the plant operations team to minimize downtime and improvereliability. • Prepare daily and weekly reports on maintenance performance and equipment availability. RequirementsQualifications& Experience:• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical /Automobile Engineering or related field. • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in maintenance supervision of lifting andtransport equipment in industrial, shipyard, or oil & gas environments. • Hands -on experience with cranes, forklifts, trailers, and heavy transportvehicles. • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, lifting gear, and mechanical troubleshooting. • Familiarity with inspection standards such as LOLER and ISO liftingregulations preferred. • Experience in Gulf or overseas maintenance projects is an advantage. RequiredSkills:• Strong leadership and team supervisionskills. • Excellent understanding of maintenance planning and safety protocols. • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and maintenance manuals. • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem -solving under pressure. • Good communication and reporting abilities. • Commitment to equipment reliability and safe operations.
