- Ensure adherence to Ashghal's standards and Qatar's environmental regulations. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to monitor compliance.
- Implement and maintain an effective EMS, achieving environmental best practices and compliance with all contractual and legal requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities, compile permit applications, and manage renewals as required.
- Develop and manage strategies to achieve sustainability targets, including monitoring environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring alignment with sustainability rating schemes like CEEQUAL.
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze environmental data. Prepare monthly environmental reports for submission to the client and relevant authorities.
- Attend and contribute to weekly HSE and monthly progress meetings with the Supervisory Consultant (SC), Project Management Consultant (PMC), and Ashghal.

Responsibilities- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 14 years in environmental management roles, preferably within infrastructure or large-scale construction projects in the Middle East.
- In-depth understanding of Qatar's environmental laws and regulations.
- Relevant certifications in environmental management or sustainability (e.g., ISO 14001, CEEQUAL) are advantageous.
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis tools and reporting software.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
