Parsons is looking for an experienced
Site Engineer (Roads)
to join our team In this role, you will manage daily site operations related to civil construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee all civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the design and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of civil works, such as earthworks, foundations, drainage systems, and roadways.
• Monitor work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and taking corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.
• Conduct site inspections, ensuring that civil works are completed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with the approved design.
• Ensure proper documentation of all civil works, including progress reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.
• Manage site safety, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks associated with civil works.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for civil works.
• Assist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that civil components meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction supervision, with at least 5 years in a site engineering role for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in managing civil works such as roads, drainage, foundations, and other infrastructure components.
• Strong understanding of civil construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• MME is required.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and guide a team.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with international construction standards and local codes, particularly in the Middle East or GCC.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other civil engineering design software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review and check designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects at the same time.
