The Non-Life Insurance Sales Agent is responsible for promoting and selling General Insurance products (Property, Motor, Medical, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and other P&C lines) to individual and corporate clients. The role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and ensuring that customers receive tailored insurance solutions that meet their risk needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients across retail and corporate segments.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, quotations, and product benefits.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Cross-sell and upsell additional products.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct renewal follow-ups and portfolio reviews.
  • Provide clear explanation of policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and requirements.
  • Gather documents for underwriting, policy issuance, and claims.
  • Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams.
  • Assess basic risk factors and provide preliminary evaluations.
  • Guide clients through the claims process.
  • Address customer inquiries and service requests promptly.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Submit regular performance reports and forecasts.
  • Responsible for developing long term relationship with clients, assess their needs and provide them accurate solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field
  • Experience in insurance sales or financial services is an advantage
