We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Event Sales Manager for a luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in conference and event sales within the hospitality industry, with a proven ability to generate leads, convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, and achieve monthly revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and driving event and conference sales to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Handle inquiries, prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, and follow up to secure bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate partners, and event organizers.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies, promotions, and business plans.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, track performance, and identify new market opportunities.
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote facilities and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communication and bookings in the CRM or sales system.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in luxury hotel sales, preferably in Conference and/or Events within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in Assistant Manager roles or equivalent within hotel event sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems (Opera/Sales & Catering or similar).
  • Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar visa and QID.
