*About The Role:*
Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations Support Services (FOSS) team as a Lead Operations Processes Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar. You will ensure business processes are documented and kept up to date as per planned revision cycles on CDMS. You will seek to reduce non-value adding processes, improving work practices and ultimately increasing efficiency and effectiveness, therefore reducing waste and increasing standards of service delivery. In this role you will also help to introduce and promote a culture of continuous improvement providing opportunities to colleagues at all levels to embrace continuous improvement methods and working practices, work collaboratively across all departments in Qatar Executive and Qatar Airways Flight Operations, CAMO and Aircraft Programs to provide consulting and process support.

Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include:

• Author and maintain up-to-date process manuals in collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure consistent understanding and execution across teams.
• Undertake business process design in support of projects, ensuring that all business processes are optimized so that the project objectives can be met.
• Work with business and IT to develop business processes for new system designs or implementations, so that development is carried out based on agreed best business process.
• Shadow cross-functional teams to assess and recommend improvements to business processes for enhanced efficiency or alignment with new systems.
• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and maintain a register of improvement opportunities, including potential software changes or new initiatives.
• Review current process models to diagnose issues and uncover untapped opportunities for optimization.
• Document processes methodically in the form of narratives and/or Visio diagrams to augment overall transparency to workflow and interfaces.
• Once process consensus is achieved, ensure accurate integration into all impacted manuals, leveraging synergies and eliminating any potential process conflicts.

Qualifications
About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Relevant College or University qualification to minimum Bachelor's level with minimum 5 years of job-related experience.
• Solid experience in Business Process Modelling and Business Analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, workshops, and working groups with multidisciplinary teams to drive process alignment and improvement.
• Possess experience in requirements gathering and requirements-definition in support of improved business processes or information systems.
• Solid experience in process development, analysis and workflow design techniques.
• MS Visio, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills.
• Business Process Mapping (BPM) techniques.
• Report writing, technical writing and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written English).
