Job Overview:

We are looking for qualified Transmission Network Studies & Analysis Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in transmission network planning, analysis, and studies, with hands-on experience using computer modeling software. The role involves conducting performance, impact, and stability studies for electricity transmission networks, as well as preparing detailed reports on transmission network planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

*Transmission Network Performance Studies:

Perform network performance studies to evaluate and optimize the operation of electricity transmission networks.

Conduct impact studies to assess the effects of potential changes or upgrades on the transmission system.

*Transmission Planning Studies:

Conduct transmission planning studies, including power flow analysis, stability studies, and other related assessments, using computer modeling software (such as PSS/E, SINCAL, etc.).

Analyze and interpret results from various simulations to identify system constraints and recommend improvements.

*Report Development:

Develop detailed reports related to transmission network planning and studies, including findings, analysis, recommendations, and potential solutions.

*Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure that transmission network analysis and studies are aligned with the broader goals and strategies of the organization.

*Additional Duties:

Perform any other related duties as required by the supervisor to support the transmission network planning and analysis activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in utility, consultancy, or power transmission.

Experience in transmission network planning, analysis, and similar studies.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in the use of transmission network modeling and analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, SINCAL, or similar).

Strong understanding of power flow analysis, stability studies, and related transmission network concepts.

Additional Skills:

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong ability to work with data and translate analysis into actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
