Job Description:The Storekeeper isresponsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage, and controllingthe issuance of equipment, spare parts, and consumables on an offshore jackuprig.Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory & Warehouse Management· Receive, inspect, andrecord all incoming materials (drilling tools, spare parts, chemicals, PPE,etc.).· Maintainaccurate stock levels using inventory management systems(e.g., SAP, Oracle, or manual logs).· Organize storage areasfor easy access, safety, and compliance (e.g., hazardousmaterials segregation).2. Issuance & Documentation· Distribute equipmentand supplies to rig personnel as per requests.· Ensure properdocumentation (GRN, MRN, stock reports) for audits and compliance.· Track criticalspares (BOP parts, drilling tools) to prevent operational delays.3. Compliance & Safety· Follow QatarEnergy(QP) and contractor -specific HSE policies.· Ensure properlabeling, handling, and storage of hazardous materials (H2S,chemicals).· Conduct monthlystock audits and report discrepancies.4. Coordination & Reporting· Liaise with logisticscoordinators (onshore) for timely resupply.· Prepare daily/weeklystock reports for rig management.· Assist in emergencyrequisitions (urgent spare parts, medical supplies).Requirements Experience: · Minimum 2+years as a storekeeper (offshore/oil & gas preferred).· Familiarity with drillingrig equipment (tubulars, BOP parts, mechanical spares).
