Position: Head Barista

We're now looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee program and elevate our café experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the coffee bar, ensuring smooth service and exceptional quality.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise barista team members to maintain consistent standards in coffee preparation and customer service.
  • Develop and refine drink recipes, seasonal menus, and brewing methods.
  • Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, and café supplies — including ordering and stock control.
  • Oversee calibration and maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
  • Support hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews of barista staff.
  • Collaborate with management to drive sales, implement promotions, and uphold brand identity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of barista experience, including.
  • Deep understanding of specialty coffee, espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Passionate about coffee culture and customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, scheduling, and inventory management is a plus.
  • Barista training or certification (e.g., SCA) preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
