Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Safety Supervisor at Tawar Mall. The Safety Supervisor will oversee daily safety operations, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and promote a safe environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, implementing safety training programs, investigating accidents, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Collaboration with management and staff to improve safety practices is a critical aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented

Monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and work permits

· Conduct daily safety inspections across mall common areas, retail units, food courts,    parking areas, and service corridors

· Ensure safe crowd management during peak hours, events, and promotions

Perform risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis

· Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts

· Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions

· Ensure contractors comply with mall safety rules and permit-to-work systems

· Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions

· Monitor high-risk activities such as hot works and work at height

· Ensure fire safety systems are functional

· Coordinate emergency drills

· Act as Emergency Response Team member

· Conduct safety training and awareness programs

· Ensure compliance with local authority regulations

· Support internal and external audits

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (Engineering / Safety preferred)

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification

  • 3–5 years' experience in safety supervision as Team Leader , preferably in commercial buildings or facility
