Payroll Assistant

The Payroll Assistant is responsible for supporting the payroll department in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions. The role involves maintaining payroll records, preparing reports, and assisting in resolving payroll-related queries while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees.
- Collect, verify, and input employee data including attendance, overtime, deductions, and leave records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Qatar Labour Law, and applicable tax or benefits regulations.
- Maintain accurate and updated payroll records in the HR/payroll system.
- Prepare and distribute pay slips and related payroll reports.
- Assist in reconciling payroll accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, and benefits in a professional and confidential manner.
- Support in end-of-service settlements and final payments.
- Assist in coordinating with finance for payment transfers and auditing payroll records.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of payroll data and reports.
