The role involves ensuring all employees adhere tosafety standards, conducting awareness programs, and fostering a culture ofsafety and fitness at the workplace. The candidate should possess strongcommunication and leadership skills to influence positive behavioral changeamong workers and staff. Job Role & Responsibilities:· Promoteand implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines at all work locations.· Conductsafety awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and training sessions to educateworkers.· Monitorwork activities to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions areimplemented.· Supportmanagement in developing and maintaining safety documentation, reports, andaudits.· Encourageemployee participation in safety and fitness (FIT) programs and monitor theireffectiveness.· Inspectpersonal protective equipment (PPE) usage and ensure compliance with companystandards.· Coordinatewith supervisors to ensure the safe execution of all operational tasks.· Reportincidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly to HSE officers ormanagement.· Participatein workplace inspections and safety meetings to promote proactive safetyculture.· Motivateemployees to maintain good health, fitness, and overall well -being as part ofworkplace safety. RequirementsQualifications & Experience:· Education:Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, orrelated field.· Certifications:NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.· Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE promotion within shipyard, industrial,or construction sectors.· Gulfexperience preferred. Required Skills:· Excellentunderstanding of HSE procedures, safety audits, and risk assessments.· Strongcommunication and presentation skills for conducting safety briefings andcampaigns.· Abilityto influence and motivate employees toward safe and healthy work practices.· Strongobservation and reporting skills with attention to detail.· Leadershipqualities and teamwork approach in implementing safety standards.· BasicEnglish communication skills are required; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
