Job Title: Legal Coordinator

Location: Qatar

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field

Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to support the legal department in managing documentation, compliance, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in a legal or corporate environment in Qatar and a strong understanding of local laws, regulations, and administrative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Legal Department.
  • Prepare, review, and process legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external law firms, and government authorities regarding legal matters.
  • Ensure that all company activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update legal files, databases, and document management systems.
  • Assist in drafting and proofreading contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
  • Track deadlines for renewals, contract expirations, and legal obligations.
  • Support the preparation of reports, summaries, and presentations for management review.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Legal Counsel or Department Head.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or corporate affairs role within Qatar.
  • Good knowledge of Qatar labor laws, commercial regulations, and governmental procedures.
  • Experience in contract management, documentation, and legal coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and document mnagement systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
