  • Event planning andstrategy: developing and implementing event strategies includingsetting goals objectives and budgets. Collaborating withstakeholders to determine event themes formats and targetaudience.
  • Budget and revenue management:developing managing and following event budget tracking paymentsexpenses and ensuring financial accountability. Making strategicdecisions to optimize resources and achieve desired outcomes withinbudgetary constraints.
  • Event logistics:overseeing all logistical aspects of events including venuesselection accommodation transportation audiovisual setup cateringand equipment rentals. Ensuring smooth operations and timelyexecution.
  • Client Relationship management:building and maintaining relationships with clients understandingtheir event requirements and providing exceptional customerservice. Collaborating with clients to develop event conceptsthemes and programs.
  • Onsite event management:overseeing onsite event operations including staff coordination andtroubleshooting. Ensuring seamless and memorable experience for allparticipants.
  • Risk management: identifying andmitigating potential risks and challenges associated with events.Developing contingency plans and ensuring compliance with legalhealth and safety regulations.
  • Posteventevaluation and actions: gathering feedback from clients andattendees. Analyzing data identifying areas for improvement andimplementing changes for future events.
  • Teammanagement: to be responsible for leading a team of eventscoordinators executives and assistants; assigning tasks providingguidance and support and ensuring effective communication.Mentoring and developing the team members providing alignment withthe organizations broader objective.
  • Industryknowledge and trends: straying update with industry trends emergingtechnologies and best practices in events management. Incorporatinginnovative ideas and strategies to enhance the quality and impactof events.

What we needfrom you

  • Holds a degree froma hotel school or a bachelors degree in businessadministration/tourism.
  • Has 34 years of priorexperience in 5star luxury hotel/event or exhibition sales.
  • Demonstrates a significant level of passionenthusiasm and motivation to achieve results.
  • Possesses excellent communication skillsacross various mediums including presentations telephoneconversations written correspondence and facetoface interactions inEnglish and preferably a secondlanguage.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skillsto cultivate and nurture beneficialrelationships.
  • Displays ambition and a keendesire for continuous learning and personal growth.Demonstrates a high level of common sense along withadvanced problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
