What you willdo

  • Coordinate the selection, training, development, andevaluation of employees and managers in the Kitchen s bake/pastryshop through effective management and leadership to ensure thatestablished cultural and core standards are met; long-rangestrategic planning for outlet operation.
  • Assist in theplanning and development of menus for the hotel, ensure the correctpreparation and presentation of a consistent level for all fooditems prepared through production and demonstration.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling,budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
  • Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons,local, state, and federal regulations are in compliance as well asthe cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
  • Set upcontrol systems which will assure quality and portion consistencyand the ability to create proper purchasing specifications as wellas monitor and review operating criteria and develop an awarenessof the importance of food preparation and quality.
  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needsare met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensureeffective coordination and cooperation betweendepartments.
  • Listens to understand requests, respondswith appropriate actions, and provides accurateinformation
  • Complies with Four Seasons Category One andCategory Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth inEmPact
  • Works harmoniously and professionally withco-workers and supervisorsWhat you bring
  • 3-5 years ofexperience in related field
  • Excellent command in English,Arabic is an advantage
