A Senior SalesManager will be responsible for the hotel sales by recommendinggrowth efforts monitoring progress and ensuring that the hotel iscompetitively positioned within the local marketplace.

What will I be doing

As Senior SalesManager you will be responsible for working closely with the SeniorManagement Team to drive business needs and expand existingbusiness through promotional efforts and sales channels. SeniorSales Manager will work to develop the sales group and groom ahighperforming sales team. Specifically you will be responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage hotel sales to ensure they accuratelyinterpret and support the objectives of the business and use theseplans to focus the sales efforts for all market segments
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Teamto identify and drive focused activities on elements of thebusiness that require additional support
  • Contribute to the development of company sales and marketinginitiatives by recommending implementing and monitoring appropriatelocal activity
  • Organise comprehensiveinformation describing the range of products and services offeredby the hotel and deliver this information through relevant salesresources and sales channels to existing and potential Guests
  • Produce accurate and timely reports thatmeet the needs of the hotel and the management company
  • Prepare and present on a monthly basis the contributionfocus and activity of the proactive sales team to the hotel ownersand senior management team
  • Cooperate withother departments in the hotel particularly Reservations and theBanqueting Department to create an exceptional Guest experience andbuild strong comprehensive sales programs
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with currentbusiness and pricing conditions
  • Monitoroffers options and discounts for repeat bookings for groupscongresses and seminars in close cooperation with the GroupCoordinator

Itwould be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate thefollowing capabilities and distinctions:

  • Knowledge of the local market
  • Knowledge of hospitality
  • Passion for salesand for achieving targets and objectives
  • Degreelevel qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous
