We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier cum Telephone Operator at our restaurant.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing orders over the telephone, and providing excellent customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
  • Operate the cash register and process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
  • Handle telephone inquiries and orders from customers.
  • Provide information about menu items, promotions, and restaurant policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter and telephone station.
  • Assist in packing takeout orders and coordinating delivery orders.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to all cash handling and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a cashier or telephone operator in a restaurant or similar setting preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
