Role Summary

The Presales Consultant will lead all presales activities, including bid management, solution design, and technical-commercial discussions. This role requires a deep understanding of IT services such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, digital transformation, enterprise applications, and managed services. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, technical experts, and customers to develop tailored IT solutions that address business challenges and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Presales and Solution Design
    • Lead presales engagements and provide technical and commercial guidance to sales teams.

    • Develop solution architectures, workflows, and implementation strategies for cybersecurity, cloud, digital transformation, and IT managed services.

    • Manage the entire bid management lifecycle, including RFP/RFI/RFQ response preparation.
    • Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals, including pricing models, solution architecture, and project timelines.

    • Collaborate with vendors and partners to obtain competitive pricing and product insights.
  3. Customer Engagement and Sales Support
    • Engage with senior decision-makers, including C-level executives and IT directors, to present and discuss solutions.
    • Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
    • Assist the sales team with deal qualification, opportunity analysis, and account strategy development.
    • Address customer concerns by providing value-driven IT solutions that align with business objectives.
  4. Collaboration with Technical and Delivery Teams
    • Work closely with solution architects, project managers, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Support presales efforts for projects involving cybersecurity, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud migration, and IT infrastructure.
    • Ensure solution feasibility and implementation alignment by engaging with technical and delivery teams during presales activities.
  5. Product and Solution Knowledge Development
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the IT services sector.
    • Develop expertise in solutions from major vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM, SAP, Oracle, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco Security.
    • Continuously enhance knowledge in artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and cloud security.
Required Skills and Competencies
  1. Technical Expertise
    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, IT managed services, cloud computing, digital transformation, and enterprise IT solutions.
    • Experience in designing solutions related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, and robotic process automation.
    • Proficiency in cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Understanding of ITSM, ITIL, DevOps, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  2. Business and Commercial Acumen
    • Ability to align technology solutions with business objectives and demonstrate ROI to customers.
    • Strong expertise in pricing models, commercial structuring, and cost-benefit analysis.
  3. Communication and Presentation Skills
    • Strong client-facing communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
    • Strong documentation and technical writing skills for solution descriptions, proposals, and project deliverables.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum five years of presales experience in a system integrator firm. Candidates from telecom or network backgrounds will not be considered.
  3. Proven track record in bid management, technical proposal writing, and RFP/RFI response development.
  4. Hands-on experience with enterprise IT solutions, cybersecurity tools, and cloud platforms.
  5. Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Expert, PMP, ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF, or similar are highly desirable.
